Welcome to our first newsletter where each month we’ll be sharing special offers, upcoming events and a glimpse of what’s happening in and around Risata Bali Resort & Spa.

Whether you like to enjoy your vacation until the last minute, or only here for a quick transit, we are conveniently located 3.8 km away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is only a 15 minutes drive by car. We also offer a variety of experiences inside the hotel, from relaxing spa treatments to Balinese cooking classes, you’ll never run out of ways to enjoy your stay with us.

Just 1.9 km from our hotel, you can find the Kuta Art Market, offering a variety of handcrafted souvenirs ranging from batik textiles and wood carvings to jewelry and kitchenware. For a full cultural experience, take a 30-minutes car ride to GWK Cultural Park, where the towering Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue presides over daily art performances, including the iconic Tari Kecak fire dance and traditional Balinese gamelan music.
Back at the hotel, expand your tastebuds by learning how to prepare basic Balinese dishes through our Balinese Cooking Class, guided by our very own chef. Also visit our Pandan Restaurant for a taste of Indonesian flavors – try Sari Laut Panggang if you’re craving for some seafood, or Nasi Goreng, a must-try comfort meal loved across Indonesia.
If you’re deciding on the perfect time for your next visit to Bali, plan your trip around one of Bali’s biggest religious ceremonies, Galungan and Kuningan (November 19 and 29). You’ll witness the island celebrating the victory of goodness over evil, with streets lined by tall penjor (handwoven bamboo poles), family temple offerings and an atmosphere of celebration.

Whether you want to go for a swim or bask in the sunset, our hotel is only 200 meters away from Jerman Beach – that is only a 5 minutes walk away! If you like to go on a morning beach run, spot the street vendor selling Nasi Jinggo (rice dish with various side dishes wrapped in banana leaves) on the way back and have breakfast the local way.
If you’re in the mood for a little shopping, Discovery Mall is only 1 km away or 12 minutes by foot – the perfect spot to pick up local souvenirs, cool down with a glass of coffee and grab a bite while watching the sunset.
Walk a little further along the beach path and you’ll find yourself at Beachwalk Shopping Centre – a family favorite, featuring international brands and various dining options, all in a open-air setting that overlooks the popular Kuta Beach.
