Bali is never short of excitement and the months of October and November bring a vibrant lineup of local events. From lively beachside festivals and world-class literary gatherings to religious ceremonies that showcase Bali’s rich heritage, you’ll never run out of things to do in Bali this season.
One of the world’s leading literary festivals, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival brings together more than 200 writers, artists, and thinkers from across the globe. Expect inspiring panel discussions, intimate workshops, book launches, and cultural performances set against the backdrop of Ubud’s lush cultural heart.
If you’re feeling more lively, the Nusa Dua Festival is a two-day celebration of music, dance, art, and culinary delights at Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua. This year’s theme showcases Bali’s creative spirit with traditional performances and live concerts featuring renowned Indonesian performers.
Back at the hotel, our Happy Hour runs daily from 4 to 10 PM at Jepun Bar, where you can enjoy a pair of cocktails for the price of one. Also get serenaded with some live tunes every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 10 PM, featuring talented local performers who’ll set the perfect mood for your evening.

Celebrating Good Over Evil
If you’re deciding on the perfect time for your next visit to Bali, plan your trip around one of Bali’s biggest religious ceremonies, Galungan and Kuningan (November 19 and 29). During these ten days, you’ll witness the island celebrating the Balinese Hindu ceremony that symbolizes the victory of dharma (good) over adharma (evil). Streets will be lined by tall penjor (handwoven bamboo poles) and families gather to honor their ancestors through offerings and prayers in the temple.
